We did complain about the wait for desserts and got them served straight away after this. We dined at the new Cafe by the beach which was fab but had to wait for ages in between ordering and receiving drinks, mains and desserts. We found all the facilities on site ggreat however felt service let some places down. We had a caravan at Beech Walk which was ideally situated and had fab views. This was our 2nd visit, we came last year too. We stayed here from the 28/6 for a long weekend. This is most not definitely a five star park and do not beleive the hype if your are not booking one of there prestige caravans avoid, unless you like living in slums. I also find the staff here not particulary helpful numerous times I have asked to speak to the generals manager and each time I am fobbed off with excuses. it is also worth pointing out the caravans on the site (in the slum area) look really old and dilapidated compared to other sites and the vans them self look to be a standard below other parks.

The other half can only be described as a Brazilian slum with cracked uneven paths or no paths to the vans, to many caravans squeezed in to a small area and the vans just dumped on what only can be described as waste ground. Having walked round the park it is most defiantly split in two where the "posh" caravans are it is all nice and cultivated with vans on concrete areas and concrete parking. Just a few yards away from the caravan there is what looks like a building site due to a caravan that has been removed yet none of the bricks and gas canisters have been removed and just left lying around.

My problems began on checking in despite phoning before arriving to have the accommodation checked for cleanliness the caravan I was allocated had burnt furniture and had a very very strong pungent smell (probably due to the burnt seats) I was then moved to another caravan in this one I found human hair in the rooms and on the plates, the curtains are ripped the seats are ripped/dirty and mouldy the windows were broken and did not lock and outside is one huge ashtray with no less than 75 butts discarded. I am currently in a so called superior caravan however in other parks I have stayed in nicer standard. I'm this park all the money has been spent on making the main areas look nice and they accommodation has suffered because of this. Currently on holiday here and having been to numerous haven parks can honestly say this is the worst one i have stayed in. The other half can only be described as a Brazilian slum with.
